A Wildwood man has been charged with attacking jail workers throughout the reserving course of on the Sumter County Detention Heart.
Robert Andrew Spangler, 33, had been arrested on expenses of battery and depriving use of 911 and was being booked Tuesday afternoon on the jail at Bushnell, in accordance with an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Workplace. He was being fingerprinted when he turned belligerent and wouldn’t comply with instructions.
Spangler, who stands 5 ft 10 inches tall and weighs 210 kilos, raised his hand and the detention officer tried to redirect it to the fingerprinting course of. Spangler continued to withstand. The officer tried to take Spangler to the bottom, however he resisted and kicked the officer within the chest together with his left foot. The incident was captured on video.
He’s dealing with a felony cost of battery on legislation enforcement along with expenses of battery and depriving use of 911. He was being held on the jail on $10,000 bond.
