A Villager took a golf cart for a trip down U.S. 301.
The black Yamaha golf cart sporting an American flag was noticed touring at about 3:45 p.m. Friday southbound on U.S. 301.
The golf cart entered the left flip lane and was quickly headed eastbound on County Street 466.
The motive force of the golf cart was apparently unaware that golf carts are usually not allowed on U.S. 301.
