
A Villager has been sentenced to fifteen months in state jail after her seventh driving underneath the affect conviction.
Donna Hansen, 63, of the Village of Chatham, was sentenced earlier this month in Marion County Courtroom.
Hansen had been free on $10,000 bond in a July 9, 2022 golf cart driving underneath the affect case when she was arrested this previous June 20 after an intoxicated altercation with a person had her house. The prosecutor’s workplace on June 29 determined to not pursue the battery cost as a result of the person she allegedly attacked expressed his want to not see her prosecuted. Nevertheless, the incident uncovered the truth that the native New Yorker had been ingesting, which was a violation of her bond within the golf cart DUI.
Previous to the 2022 drunk driving arrest, Hansen already had six convictions for driving underneath the affect, together with convictions in Broward, Volusia and Palm Seashore counties.
