A Villager used a crowbar to threaten a girl throughout an alleged street rage incident.

Douglas Johnson, 76, of the Village of Woodbury, was driving a purple truck and was in entrance of the girl on eightieth Avenue at about 1 p.m. Tuesday when he repeatedly “brake checked” her, based on an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Workplace. She turned on her cellphone digicam and commenced recording Johnson’s actions. He “brake checked” her once more, forcing her to slam on her brakes.

Johnson, who stands 5 toes 11 inches tall and weighs 205 kilos, obtained out of the truck and “started yelling at her.” He went again to his automobile and retrieved a crowbar. He started yelling at her once more whereas holding the crowbar subsequent to his aspect. He “threatened to knock the remainder of her enamel out,” the report stated. He obtained again into his truck and drove away.

Johnson went to the Marion County Sheriff’s Workplace Substation at Mulberry Grove Plaza in The Villages. He claimed the girl was following him too intently. He stated he used his brakes to “get her to again away.” He admitted he confronted the girl and claimed he grabbed the crowbar as a result of she had been “reaching round in her automobile.”

Johnson was arrested on a felony cost of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon. He was booked on the Marion County Jail on $2,000 bond.
