Village of La Reynalda resident Julie Schmied has been honored because the Night Rotarian of the Yr.
She joined the Night Rotary Membership of The Villages in 2019 and is a previous president of the group.
She is a frontrunner within the membership’s Bridge the Hole effort which offers diagnostic checks for sufferers of the Lazarus Free Clinic. She additionally researched and arranged the primary annual competition fundraiser which raised nearly $15,000 to fund the membership’s tasks. She already has the membership engaged on the Meals & Enjoyable Pageant set for Feb. 15 on the Wildwood Neighborhood Heart in collaboration with Wildwood Parks & Recreation Division.
