A teen was nabbed within the tried theft of $749 price of merchandise at Walmart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.
Shelby Gail Shamblin, 18, of Oxford, had the gadgets in a buying cart when she wheeled it out of the shop, passing all factors of sale, based on an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The gadgets had been in buying luggage, which the Ashland, Ky. native introduced into the shop along with her.
A loss prevention agent had watched Shamblin as she chosen the gadgets, put them in luggage after which left the shop.
A prison historical past test confirmed she has no prior theft convictions. She was taken into custody on a cost of theft. She was booked on the Sumter County Detention Heart on $1,000 bond.
