A suspected thief was arrested after a Lowe’s residence enchancment supervisor recognized him “with out hesitation.”
Stefan Egger, 30, of Summerfield was arrested this previous week on a trio of warrants charging him with felony grand theft.
The Poughkeepsie, N.Y. native has been charged in a sequence of thefts at Lowe’s on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Woman Lake. In an incident in February, Egger entered the shop and pushed a purchasing cart to the facility software part. He loaded the cart with instruments, together with two chainsaws, and headed for the gardening part. As soon as there, he put a big plant within the cart and exited the shop with out paying for the merchandise, in line with an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Workplace.
