A visitor at a resort in The Villages was arrested after allegedly putting a canine together with his flip flop.

Ota Zverina, 48, of Eunice, La., was a visitor on the Marriott TownePlace Suites at Spanish Springs this previous weekend when he was apparently enraged by the canine “pooping on the carpet of Room 231 and him stepping on the canine’s feces,” in line with an arrest report from the Woman Lake Police Division. He took off his flip flop and struck the canine thrice “inflicting it to yelp and squeal.” The canine was “traumatized and hid beneath a desk.” The girl who owns the canine picked up the pet, “grabbed her youthful sister” and left the resort for half-hour.

When she returned and tried to reclaim her belongings in Room 231, Zvernia punched her with a closed fist and positioned each of his palms on her neck, trying to choke her. The youthful sister instructed police she used a brush keep on with strike Zverina within the again when he wouldn’t let go of her sister’s neck.

When cops spoke with Zverina, they seen he had “a robust odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath.” The Villages Public Security Division was summoned to the scene and carried out an analysis of Zverina, who had suffered an harm to his left eye. The California native was arrested on costs of battery and animal cruelty. He was booked on the Lakae County Jail on $15,000 bond.
