The Pops Refrain Folksingers are again for one more fun-filled Hootenanny to profit Tutors for Youngsters Inc. and the Sumter Youth Heart.
The group performs the nice folks songs made well-known by Peter, Paul and Mary; The Kingston Trio; New Christy Minstrels; The Brothers 4; John Denver and plenty of different musicians of the instances. Audiences will discover themselves singing alongside, clapping to the rousing upbeat music, and reflecting on the attractive ballads of this particular musical period. Becoming a member of the group shall be skilled folks singers Playnfoke.
The present will happen at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at North Lake Presbyterian Church. All tickets are $15 common admission. Tickets may be bought at thevillagespops.thundertix.com, and in-person on Saturdays Sept. 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bridgeport Recreation Heart, and shall be out there on the door if not offered out.
The Pops Refrain Folksingers are a part of The Villages Pops Refrain. The 2 teams collectively have donated over $230,000 to native charities since 2014.
