A golf upkeep official on Monday revealed a timeline for the reopening of a pair of renovated govt programs in The Villages.
Director of Govt Golf Upkeep Mitch Leininger stated at Monday’s Mission Vast Advisory Committee that the Churchill Greens Govt Golf Course will reopen on the finish of October. That course has been closed for a number of months for brand spanking new greens, tees and fairways in addition to bunker, landscaping and cart path enhancements.
The Belmont Govt Golf Course will probably reopen within the Thanksgiving-Christmas timeframe, Leininger stated. That course can be being renovated with new greens, tees and fairways in addition to bunker, landscaping and cart path enhancements.
As well as Leininger stated the next programs can be seeing bunker sand replenishment this fall:
